Hi! I’m Taya (pronounced tay-uh), a twenty-one-year-old avid thrifter, sunset enthusiast, concert lover, vegetarian, proud black feminist, and artist who loves to travel.

I’ve been in love with all things fashion since I was about eight, and have known it was what I really wanted to do since I was that young. I originally thought I wanted to be a designer and started learning how to sew and sketch croquis at the age of twelve.

The first time I went thrifting about five years ago, I was amazed at the quality items I found that fit my style better than anything on the clearance rack at Forever 21, and at such great prices. I’ve been hooked ever since!
I have always loved to write, take pictures, and create, so the idea of a blog has appealed to me since I was young.

I discovered I have a huge passion for writing and this lead me to my desired career path of fashion journalism.
